The Big Gig is back! Kitchen Jam’s annual showcase takes over the stunning Soul Mama venue for a celebration of everything we’re about — music, community, and playing for the love of it.
Join us for an afternoon where first-time players, rising teenage talents, and seasoned adult guitarists all share the stage — backed by our professional house band. Together, they’ll turn a year of learning, jamming, and playing into an electric live show that’s always full of surprises.
This multi-generational gig is a highlight of the Kitchen Jam calendar, capturing the energy and creativity that runs through everything we do. Expect a day of inspiring performances, serious fun, and a reminder of what playing music is all about.

At Kitchen Jam, we believe music is made to play. We’re East London’s home of guitar, where kids, teens, and adults come to jam, grow, and connect through music.
Our approach is simple: real music, real people, real progress. We blend structured learning with creativity, helping students not only develop their skills but actually enjoy the process.
