Dynamo is back. Following his major sellout residencies at London’s Underbelly, one of the world’s most recognisable entertainers returns with his first UK tour in 10 years, performing his highly acclaimed show ‘Up Close and Magical’ to audiences across the country. 
Receiving four-star reviews from both The Guardian and The Times, ‘Up Close and Magical’ is a unique showcase of magic from across Dynamo’s incredible career to date. Welcoming audiences of all ages, this tour promises to blow your mind and leave you questioning how he makes the impossible possible.  

Speaking on the upcoming tour, Dynamo (Steven Frayne) has said: “Over the last few years I’ve fallen back in love with magic in a way I never thought possible. Performing this show reminded me why I started this journey in the first place, not for television or big stunts, but for those moments of wonder shared between people. That’s what Up Close and Magical is all about. After an incredible run in London, I’m excited to take the show across the UK in 2027 and share that feeling with audiences around the country.”


Why do we have a restoration Levy? 
Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building. As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke's requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities. This levy will enable us to fund essential projects that will safeguard the venue's future as a vibrant hub for live music and community events.
