PorkPie stand proudly at the heart of the UK’s modern ska revival, blending the fire of classic 2-Tone with their own unmistakable energy. Over the last three years the band have stepped firmly into their stride, releasing two full-length albums and an EP that have cemented their reputation as one of the most dynamic ska outfits on the circuit. Their self-titled EP ‘Skandemic’ marked a turning point for Porkpie, showcasing sharp songwriting, powerful brass arrangements, and the band’s signature ability to fuse social bite with irresistible rhythm. Building on that momentum, 2025 saw the release of their acclaimed second album ‘9 On the Tiles’, a record that broadened their sound while staying true to the ska roots that first inspired them. The album’s standout single ‘Bones’ became a breakout success and was picked up as a favourite by Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 Music, earning the band new listeners across the UK and beyond. Known for their electric stage presence, polished musicianship, and a commitment to making every gig feel like a celebration, PorkPie continue to rise through the ska scene with confidence and flair. In April 2026, they’ll bring their unmistakable stomp to the London International Ska Festival, appearing alongside reggae and roots luminaries Misty in Roots and The Cimarons a milestone that marks just how far the band have come. With momentum on their side and a loyal, ever-growing fanbase, PorkPie are skanking forward with purpose—ready to bring their brass, bounce, and big-hearted spirit to audiences everywhere.

Why do we have a restoration Levy?
Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building. As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke's requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities. This levy will enable us to fund essential projects that will safeguard the venue's future as a vibrant hub for live music and community events.
If you would like to be kept up to date on progress with how we are using this fund then please follow us on social media @stlukesglasgow, and sign up to our mailing list where we will send out quarterly updates on the improvements that your donations are helping us make.
